Clemson pulled another highly-rated receiver out of south Florida with
Troy Stellato.
More on Stellato... Troy Stellato - 4-star WR - Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Committed since: 6/5/20. Listed size: 6-0 175. Brings to Clemson: Stellato has been an absolute matchup problem for Cardinal Gibbons (Fla.) as a slot receiver, regularly targeted and racking up the yards after catch on some big plays. He has the speed to beat a defender one-on-one and can find pockets in zone defense to catch the ball and take it a long way too. Depth chart fit: Stellato made no bones about picking Clemson over Ohio State with the idea that he could get on the field early. With Amari Rodgers set to pursue his NFL dreams, Stellato looks like an ideal new target in the slot, with the ability to play some field receiver as well.
Tyler Grisham on Stellato: "One of Troy's greatest aspects is speed. It's the first thing you think of. He's really able to get open and create separation. That's what you want from a guy who can really play anywhere but especially the slot. What's cool about Troy is he's tough. That's another word that comes to mind...He's a dog. He loves to play the game. He's great after the catch. He really takes pride in finishing plays and has the speed to do it. What's great about Troy also is he's a great worker. He really does love the wideout position and will send me videos of him working on his craft."
