2020: Posted four tackles (1.5 for loss) including his first career sack as well as a pass breakup at Wake Forest … tied for team lead with six tackles, including a half-sack, vs. The Citadel … added four tackles vs. Virginia … made three tackles (0.5 for loss) at Georgia Tech.

2019: Contributed eight tackles in 41 defensive snaps over 13 games … transitioned to defensive end from linebacker prior to the season … recorded a tackle vs. Georgia Tech and at Syracuse … contributed vs. Charlotte … added a tackle vs. Florida State and at Louisville … saw action vs. Boston College … recorded two tackles vs. Wofford … added a tackle vs. Wake Forest and at South Carolina.

2018: Appeared in nine games … credited with two tackles in eight snaps in the season opener against Furman … played on special teams in an additional eight games.

2017: Had two tackles, both on special teams, in four games … had two special teams tackles against The Citadel on Nov. 18.

2016: Did not appear in a game.

Before Clemson: Lettered at Alonso High School.

Personal: Father, Regan Upshaw, was the No. 12 overall selection of the 1996 NFL draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and played nine seasons for five teams … earned degree in economics in May 2020 … completed microinternship with WH Trucking in 2018 … born Nov. 20, 1997.
