AD speak.
the question is worded this way, "Here is what we can offer you. If we offer it to you will you accept?"
If the answer is "No" then the school can "truthfully" say, "We never offered him the job." And the coach can "truthfully" say, "I was never offered a job by any other school."

Good for them and good for us. Hopefully sometimes in the not so distant future, CTE will put out a statement he's ours at least one more year.
Also Godspeed to Dabo and staff if those other covid rumors are true. Can we please not have any more drama, no more departures and concentrate on spring football.

I don't know why anyone thinks Tony has to put out any statement. He only did so about the Auburn job because it was causing a distraction. If I were Tony, I would not comment on anything that did not have to do with my job at Clemson University ...... period!

Well, excuse me guys. I should have worded it different.... Or not at all. Wasn't really expecting a statement from CTE, merely making a point that I'm glad he's staying and will be glad when the other speculation that he's taking the UCF or football u job, NFL etc.

Josh Heupel certainly doesn't fall into that category.
He had two good years with players another coach/staff recruited. In year three, with his own players, he goes 6-4.
I certainly see why UT fans are skeptical about this hire.
