HOT discussion on the Internet about the "wussyfication" of the NFL. One can ponder, is the NFL really, just a reflection of the "wussyfication" battle that is currently going on in 'merica ? If this keeps up, is the NFL going to have ratings as bad as CNN ?

1) The emphasis on QB safety is a business decision. The league and fans do not want to see their stars go down. QB driven league, etc etc and there aren't enough good ones to go around already.

2) The officials/league will course correct. It's a learning process

QB protection has little to do with any wussification outside of the NFL. NFL ratings are fine and still by far the #1 game /show in town (no pun intended).

where middle aged white men can claim they are the victims of a liberal agenda, all while never getting off their couch or even having to sober up long enough to understand how absurd this idea is.
