The Clemson basketball team was hit with COVID pause in early January and it wound up almost derailing the season. The Tigers once again have had to put things on hold, but head coach Brad Brownell hopes his team understands better how to handle the pause this time around.
Nick Honor took it to the bank. Honor’s 3-point shot from 25 feet banked in off the glass with a little over one second remaining, giving Clemson a thrilling 74-72 victory over Georgia Tech in Littlejohn Coliseum Friday night.
Aamir Simms scored a team-high 18 points and became the 42nd Clemson Tiger in program history to eclipse the 1000 point mark in his career in the Tigers 78-61 win over the Syracuse Orange inside of Littlejohn Coliseum on Saturday afternoon. |
