Played in right field and at first base as a freshman … moved to the leadoff spot during the latter stage of 2020 and excelled.

2020: Received a redshirt from the NCAA with the season’s suspension on March 12 and cancellation due to a coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic … hit .245 with 11 runs, five doubles, a homer, six RBIs, a .408 slugging percentage, .413 on-base percentage, 14 walks and three steals in 16 games (15 starts, including 11 in right field and four at first base) … tied for eighth in the ACC in walks … led the team in runs and walks … tied for the team lead in steals … was 5-for-15 with three doubles, three RBIs, five runs and a .500 on-base percentage in his four starts in the leadoff spot; Clemson was 4-0 … went 2-for-4 with his first career homer, a double, two RBIs, two runs and a walk at South Carolina on Feb. 28 … went 3-for-4 with a team-season-high two doubles, two runs and a walk against Boston College on March 8; was 4-for-8 with three doubles, five runs, six walks and a .714 on-base percentage in the series … No. 10 college prospect for the 2022 draft in the preseason by Perfect Game … No. 11 freshman in the nation in the preseason by Perfect Game … No. 123 freshman in the nation in the preseason by D1Baseball … No. 2 freshman in the ACC in the preseason by Perfect Game … No. 12 ACC prospect for the 2022 draft in the preseason by D1Baseball.
