2011: Hit .367 with 11 runs, two doubles, one triple, one homer, 11 RBIs, a .424 on-base percentage, and three steals in 33 games (10 starts, including five as the DH, three in right field, and two in left field)...hit .522 with a .621 on-base percentage with runners on base...was 10-for-22 (.455) with five runs, two doubles, one triple, and six RBIs in 23 games off the bench...was 6-for-15 (.400) with a double, triple, two RBIs, three walks, and a .500 on-base percentage as a pinch-hitter...was 19-for-36 (.528) in Clemson wins...was 8-for-18 (.444) with runners in scoring position...was 16-for-29 (.552) in non-ACC regular-season games...went 2-for-2 with a run off the bench in his first game as a Tiger against Eastern Michigan on Feb. 18...went 2-for-2 with two RBIs off the bench against Cincinnati on Feb. 25...came off the bench and hit a two-run double against Duke on Mar. 19...went 3-for-4 with his first career homer, two RBIs, and three runs against Elon on Mar. 23...hit a pinch-hit, run-scoring double with one out in the ninth inning to tie the score against Coastal Carolina on Apr. 5...hit a pitch-hit, run-scoring triple against Maryland on Apr. 8...went 3-for-4 with an RBI and steal against Presbyterian College on Apr. 12...played for Sanford in the Florida Collegiate Summer League in the summer, where he hit .148 with a double and two steals; he was a member of the league champions.

Before Clemson: Member of the 2010 Orlando Classic All-Star team...first-team all-metro selection as a junior and senior at Olympia High School...from the same high school that produced Tiger infielder Brad Miller (2009-11)...lettered three times in baseball at Olympia High, where he was coached by Randy O'Neal.
