Righthander who was the team’s top midweek starter in 2013, then saw action as a reliever in 2014 ... in 35.2 innings pitched over 15 appearances (seven starts) and two seasons, he has a 1-2 record and 6.06 ERA while allowing 34 hits (.252 opponents’ batting average) and 32 walks with 37 strikeouts ... two-time ACC Academic Honor Roll member.

2014: ACC Academic Honor Roll member ... had an 0-1 record and a 15.63 ERA in five appearances (two starts) ... in 6.1 innings pitched, he allowed 10 hits (.370 opponents’ batting average) and 10 walks with nine strikeouts ... played for High Point-Thomasville in the Coastal Plain League in the summer, where he was 5-2 with a 3.83 ERA, three complete games, one shutout, 54 strikeouts against 16 walks and a .227 opponents’ batting average in 56.1 innings pitched over eight starts.

2013: ACC Academic Honor Roll member ... had a 1-1 record and a 3.99 ERA in 10 appearances (five starts) ... in 29.1 innings pitched, he allowed 24 hits (.222 opponents’ batting average) and 22 walks with 28 strikeouts ... Clemson had a 4-1 record in his five starts ... allowed only one steal ... held opponents to a .189 batting average with runners on base ... pitched 2.2 innings in relief, allowing two hits and no earned runs with four strikeouts against Winthrop on Feb. 27 ... pitched 4.0 innings in a starting role, allowing four hits and one earned run with three strikeouts against Morehead State on March 20; it was his first career start ... pitched 5.1 innings in a starting role, allowing one earned run with three strikeouts against Presbyterian College on April 10 ... pitched 2.0 innings in relief, allowing two hits and no runs with four strikeouts ... pitched 6.0 innings in a starting role, allowing one hit and no runs with seven strikeouts to earn the win in the first game of a doubleheader at Furman on May 8; it was his first career outing away from home ... played for High Point-Thomasville in the Cape Cod League in the summer, where he had 37 strikeouts in 30.2 innings pitched over nine appearances (eight starts); No. 18 prospect in the Coastal Plain League by Perfect Game.
